Akuram sent a demon named Shirin to kill the Emperor. She has the power to seduce men. At first she wanted to seduce the vice-minister Fujiwara no Takamichi, but she failed. Akane is then summoned to the palace, but since the palace is so big she easily got lost. Luckily she ran into Fujiwara no Takamichi who helped her to get to the place she needed to be. Akane overheard talking about their plan to kill the Emperor. She wanted to warn someone, but trusted the wrong person to do this. The man she trusted was already under Shirin’s spell. He took her to the room where Shirin was. Shirin hates Akane very much, because Akuram is so interested in her. She started to torture Akane by slapping her in the face. Takamichi arrived in time to stop Shirin. He told Akane to alert someone to save the Emperor, unfortunately she was stopped by Shirin’s “puppets”. Tomomasa knocked the puppets unconscious and freed Akane. Shirin knows she was defeated. Takamichi saw her arm was injured and wanted to take care of her wound. She however refused and left.
Just when I was about to drop this anime from my blogging list, they come up with a great episode. Takamichi and Tomomasa are so cool and they make a great team. Akane was still annoying, but she didn’t deserved the slapping (well maybe one slap or two or three – I know I am evil! ^_^). I was surprised the other Hachiyou didn’t appear. Usually when Akane is in danger they would come to the rescue.
