[[ Grenadier ~Hohoemi no Senshi~ episode 6 ]]

When Mikan was younger her parents were killed by the Tenma gang, because they refused to pay them money. The Tenma gang wanted to kill Mikan as well if it wasn't for Touka who saved her. Mikan has been living with Touka and her girls ever since.
Mikan wants to revenge her parents and goes after the Tenma gang. Touka tried to stop her, but she got wounded by a cannonball. Rusyana goes after Mikan and arrived in time to save her. Rusyana beats the Tenma gang effortlessly. Suddenly a robot showed up attacking Rusyana. A man called Zoushi Banmaru is operating the robot. Rusyana tries to shoot the robot, but noticed she has run out of bullets. Poor Rusyana, all he can do now is run around and try to dodge the robot's attacks. Unfortunately for Rusyana her panties goes *snap*, so she can't really run and dodge anymore. Yajirou brought Rusyana her belt with spare-bullets, but no "panties". In the end Rusyana managed to beat Zoushi Banmaru and convinced Mikan that revenge leads to nothing. The leader of the Tenma gang isn't even worth for Mikan to be mad at, he is pathetic.

Although some fanservice could add more humor to the show, I still can't really see what was so funny when Rusyana lost her panties. I guess most of the male audience would enjoy it, but I don't. Perhaps because I am a girl. Anyway this episode wasn't bad. I was actually hoping for more Touka, because I kinda like her character --> too bad. Yajirou played his part as sidekick very well. He showed up in time and brought the right things with him (he forgot Rusyana's panties, but he couldn't have predicted that now could he?) I still don't know what to expect from Mikan's character. She is not annoying, but not very likeable either. Looking forward for the next episode, because Rusyana will be heading for the capital to confront Tenshi ^_^

Kazuma thought the manager’s sister died, because of her allergies and was worried that the same thing will happen to his sister. He called her and told her to watch out for “Arabian oil shock”. Kazuma meant anaphylactic shock but as we all know he is not so bright. His sister tells him not to worry about her, because she doesn’t drink milk from a cow. She drinks Hanako’s milk. Kazuma asks her to deliver the milk to him so he can make delicious bread. Meanwhile Kawachi has been studying all kinds of books about horses, allergies and health. He thinks he has finally come up with a way to make delicious bread.
The next day Kazuma went to the racetrack to find the manager. He throws a piece of his bread to the horse and surprisingly the horse ate it and finds it very delicious. Kazuma arrived a few minutes later. Kawachi grabbed Kazuma’s bread and threw a piece of it to the horse. The horse not only refused to eat it, he also stomps on it. It turns out that Kazuma has used milk of a goat (Hanako is the “pet” of Kazuma’s grandfather) to make butter for the bread. He was too busy thinking of ways to prevent allergies and to preserve the taste of the bread that he forgot about the horse.
The manager however liked Kazuma’s bread, he didn’t think Kazuma could come up with such a great idea. Although the horse liked Kawachi’s bread, all Kawachi did was to copy the manager’s style. The manager didn’t really mind though. He decided to let both Kazuma and Kawachi stay at the Pantasia southern store.

This episode was so-so. Kawachi’s and the horse’s expressions were funny as always. I had a hard time understanding all the things the manager said about yeasting and bread making. I guess I am kind of stupid.
I had expected for Kazuma to fail this time (not that he would get fired or so, just fail for once). I don’t hate him, but I feel sorry for Kawachi. He knows so much about bread and he tries so hard. Kazuma on the other hand knows almost nothing about bread. He just relies on his talents and instincts.

[[ Meine Liebe episode 3 ]]

Victor Griffyth, a graduate of the Rozenstolz Academy, came to visit the academy. He seems to be looking for a special person. That person is Camus. Camus has the power to foresee the future. Other students of the academy have always feared Camus, because of his power. They think Camus can curse people who mock him. Victor Griffyth explains to Camus that they share the same ancestral blood and therefore Victor has the ability to foresee the future as well. He wants Camus to help him with his business. He gave Camus some time to think about it. Camus starts to doubt his decision for entering the Rozenstolz Academy. Ludwig came with a few arguments to take away Camus’ doubts. The next day Camus went with Victor Griffyth to his mansion. Orpherus and Eduard were worried about Camus and followed him. In the mansion Camus rejected Victor’s offer. Victor couldn’t accept this answer and decided to take Camus by force.
Ludwig (Lui), Naoji, Orpherus and Eduard arrived in time to save Camus. Victor Griffyth says to Camus that he is the only person that can understand Camus, because he can relate to him, other people would just fear him. He asked Camus to come with him. Camus understands that there are other people who can accept him for who he is and rejected Victor for the second time.

I figured this episode would focus on Camus. The first episode was a short introduction of the main characters, the second episode focussed on Eduard, this episode focussed on Camus and the upcoming episodes would probably focus on Naoji, Ludwig and Orpherus. In my opinion it’s a bit too early for character-episodes, unless Meine Liebe will end with thirteen episodes or so (I went to the official website of Meine Liebe and currently only thirteen episodes are scheduled to air). In that case it would make sense to start with the character-episodes. Camus is quite an interesting character. Unlike Ludwig and Orpherus he lacks confidence and he isn’t aware of his own abilities. He has always feared his powers, because other people fear him because of it. Ever since Camus was little he has looked up to Ludwig and he has had the ambition to become like him. Ludwig however is aware that Camus has unique abilities and encourages him to become stronger and less dependant of him. I guess Ludwig is a nice guy after all. Naoji, Orpherus and Eduard played a minor part in this episode. The next episode is about Naoji. It should be a pretty interesting episode.

Ichigo went with his family to visit his mother’s grave. Rukia appeared out of nowhere and waved at Ichigo. He pulled her away and asked her why she is following him. Rukia answers that a Hollow can appear anytime and when that happens he will need her by his side. Rukia then starts to ask Ichigo about his mother. She asks if it’s possible that a Hollow killed his mother, because they could have mistaken her for Ichigo. Ichigo didn’t like Rukia asking him all these questions and answers that he killed his mother.
Meanwhile Tatsuki starts to think about Ichigo when he was still a little boy. Ichigo used to be a real mommy’s boy. He was always happy and cheerful when he was with his mommy. This al changed when Ichigo’s mother died when he was only nine years old. From that day on Ichigo changed into the Ichigo he is now.
Rukia regrets she asked Ichigo those questions. Kon crawled out of her backpack and says he wants to go home. Rukia suddenly felt someone’s presence and ran into the forest. There she met Saidou Eikichirou a Death God and a member of the Secret Mobile Unit. He is sent by Soul Society to bring Rukia back. Kon knows the Death God is up to no good and so he went to look for Ichigo. He found him and brought him to Rukia. Saidou Eikichirou then finds out about Ichigo’s identity (substitute Death God) and attacks him. Ichigo used Kon to turn into a Death God and starts fighting Saidou. Then Rukia received orders about a Hollow that is nearby and they had to seize the fight. It turns out that a Hollow is attacking Ichigo’s family so Ichigo has to go save them.

I can’t wait for the next episode. This episode ended with a few major cliffhangers again. Will Ichigo arrive in time to save his family, who killed his mother, who is the girl Ichigo tried to save when he was little, what felony did Rukia commit and will Ichigo continue his fight with Saidou?
Saidou Eikichirou is a very annoying person. He thinks he is funny, while he isn’t. I thought Death Gods are supposed to take their jobs very seriously. Saidou seems to think that his work is rather amusing and takes it a bit lightly. I hope the next episode will reveal some answers and I sure hope that Ichigo will kick Saidou’s ass (big time!).

Yumeyako, a childhood-friend of Kantarou’s, asked for his help. She is a professional entertainer/ dancer who gets paid for entertaining people. A masked man named Aoyagi Shinzaburou hired Yumeyako to dance for him. He is a very famous doll-maker, who makes dolls that look like real human beings.
The last time Yumeyako danced for him she felt a strange presence of someone/ something looking at her. She asks Kantarou and his friends to accompany her to the mansion of Aoyagi Shinzaburou. After they entered the mansion they discovered a hallway full of dolls. One doll was dressed exactly the same as Yumeyako. The doll’s name is Yae and is Aoyagi’s masterpiece.
Aoyagi didn’t want to waste time and asks Yumeyako to dance for him. During the performance someone sabotaged the stage light and caused it to fall on Yumeyako, luckily Kantarou saved her. Later on they found out that Yae was missing. Aoyagi went looking for her and feared for the worse. Yae kidnapped Yumeyako and took her to the basement. According to Kantarou, Yae is jealous of Yumeyako and therefore turned into a demon. She couldn’t stand the way Aoyagi Shinzubarou looked at Yumeyako during her performances. Haruka and Kantarou start fighting demon Yae. Kantarou used a chant to bind the demon and vanquish it. Yae returned to normal, but accidentally crashed into a burning lampoon when she fell. The flames started to spread rapidly and soon the whole mansion caught flame. Kantarou and Haruka saved Yumeyako and wanted to leave the mansion together with Aoyagi, but then Yae started to perform for Aoyagi. Aoyagi didn’t want to leave Yae and stayed behind. Then Yae somehow became human. Yae and Aoyagi kissed and died happily in each other’s arms.

At first I really hated this episode. Not because the story is so bad, on the contrary it’s actually quite good. I hated this episode, because of the dolls. I can’t stand dolls and especially dolls that are human-like, they freak me out. That’s also the reason why I don’t watch Rozen Maiden.
Anyway, this episode is quite good. Like always the artwork is done very nicely. At first I thought this episode would definitely fit in the horror genre (freaky mansion, scary dolls that come to life and an obsessed doll-maker), but in the end it turned out to be a sad love story between a doll-maker and his masterpiece. I still don’t understand why Yae became human in the end. Or was it just Aoyagi’s imagination?

Akane caught a cold and had to stay home. Ryo went to school, but was worried about Akane the whole time. When he called home and Akane didn’t answer the phone, he freaked out and rushed home. On his way home he almost got run over by a truck (the truck would have hit him, if he didn’t leap over it) and got chased by a dog.
When he finally got home, he was happy to see Akane is still alive. He made some rice porridge for her and fed her. At first Akane was worried that she will become distant with Ryo, because of Shizuka, Ojo and Miki, but know she realizes that Ryo cares for her the most and that no one can come between them.

Ahhhhhh, this was such a heartwarming episode. Up till now the episodes were mainly focused on either Ryo-Shizuka or Ryo-Ojo. It was nice to see that Ryo and Akane have such a nice relationship. Not many siblings can get along with each other so well. We also got to see a few fragments from their past. Ryo and Akane’s parents died when they were very young. That’s why Ryo is so protective of Akane. He doesn’t want anything bad happen to her ^_^.

Locked up in the storage room
Tenma got locked up in the storage room. She imagines herself being on a deserted island and thinks of things she can do in order to survive. She found some bread and ate it. It turns it is hot spicy bread, which Tenma can’t stand. She turned on the sprinklers to get some water. Tenma got soaked and took of her shirt to have it dry. Suddenly Karasuma-kun appears out of nowhere. He has been sleeping in the storage room the whole time. Tenma was embarrassed, because she was shirtless and jumped out the window.

Who is it?
Harima is desperate to find out who Tenma really likes. Then he noticed Tenma looking his way all the time. He thinks that Tenma likes him. Tenma was in fact looking at Karasuma-kun who happens to be behind Harima all the time.

Harima in the hospital
Harima decides to confess to Tenma. He bought some yellow roses and was riding on his motorcycle to find Tenma. He got distracted when he saw Tenma and got hit by a truck. Harima has to stay in the hospital for at least ten days to recover from his wounds. Tenma comes to visit him, making Harima all nervous. Itoko offers to help Harima with a little “spy kit” she invented. With this spy kit she can whisper words in Harima ear and hear the conversation between Harima and Tenma. Itoko didn’t really help, because she whispered weird things in Harima’s ear. In the end Harima couldn’t confess to Tenma.

Poor Harima, he thinks that Tenma likes him while in fact she likes Karasuma-kun. I wonder when Harima will find out about this. Karasuma-kun is so dull, but funny at the same time. He wears ridiculous outfits and acts very strangely. And why was he in the storage room anyway?
Tenma is naïve as always, but cute as well. She is so thickheaded, I really hope she will notice that Harima likes her. Oh and Harima should shave his mustache and cut his hair. He looked better before and by doing so Tenma might notice him. Itoko is cool. I think she likes to see Harima suffer.

How Harima and Tenma met
A new character is introduced. Her name is Itoko and she is Harima's cousin. Her name is a bit confusing, because Itoko also means cousin in Japanese. She tricks Harima into telling her how he met Tenma, knowing that Tenma is sitting right behind him. Harima starts telling his story. He met Tenma when he was fifteen. She was being robbed by a thug and Harima saved her, but then Tenma fainted. Harima had no choice, but to take her to his house. He noticed how cute Tenma is and tried to make a move on her, but then Tenma suddenly hugs Harima while she's still unconscious. They almost kissed, but Harima decided not to take advantage of her after all and pushed her away. Tenma suddenly wakes up and mistakes Harima for a pervert.

Joining the tea club
Yakumo wants to join the tea club. Hanai, the guy from the Aikido club, wants to join the club as well because of her. Before he was allowed to join the club, he had to take a test. Too bad he failed it.

Softbal match
Tenma's class has to play a softbal match. Of course Tenma sucks at it, but Harima thinks she is cute. A guy called Tenma stupid and Harima whacked him unconscious with the ball. Karasuma (who's the coach) decides to let Tenma play as a substitute. Tenma has no confidence in her abilities, Karasuma grabbed her by the shoulders and said some kind words to cheer her up (Sawakachi taught him to tells these words to Tenma). Tenma regained her confidence. She used all her strength to throw a fast ball that whacked Harima unconscious.

This episode reminded me why I liked School Rumble in the first place. It was so funny. Poor Harima had to change his looks just so he can be with Tenma. His cousin is pretty wicked as well. She is smart and not someone to mess with. The second story was so-so. I feel sorry for Hanai. He's pretty likeable, because he's the only guy who thinks and acts exactly the same (and Yakumo should know) and he looks a lot better without his glasses. The softbal match was funny too. Never thought that Karasuma is so flexible and for a moment there I actually thought he isn't a complete dull head --> too bad he is. Harima is cute when he stands up for Tenma, the guy was asking for it. DON'T INSULT TENMA WHEN HARIMA IS AROUND!
