Huh, what's going on? Harima turns into a Super Saiyan and fights Bizon Karasuma to save Tenma? Oh, it's just a manga Harima was drawing. Turns out Harima loves to draw manga. He even went to a publisher to get his work published. Harima tells the publisher that he is a big fan of Nijou-sensei's work. It's because of him Harima started to draw manga. The publisher tells Harima he has great talent and that he should enter the competition for "Rookie of the year". If he wins he will receive the Nijou Jou award and his work will be publicized. Nijou is also a guest judge. Then Nijou-sensei enters the room. It turns out that Karasuma is Nijou-sensei. Harima was pissed, but also disappointed after knowing this. He shredded his manga and left.
Meanwhile Tenma and her friends are at a café. Tenma's friends noticed that Tenma has been very happy the past few of days. They know it's because of Karasuma. They wonder if Karasuma won't get bored of eating onigiri every day. Tenma wonders about that as well. She thinks Karasuma didn't tell her this because he didn't want to hurt her feelings. So she decides to make curry for Karasuma, but unfortunately she failed miserably.
Harima was sitting in the park letting the rain wash away his pain. A girl felt sorry for Harima and took him home. She let him stay at her place and even tried to make a move on him, but Harima turned her down. The next three days Harima stayed at her place. Except for sleeping he goes fishing every day. One day he met Tenma, she was looking for Yakumo's cat (Iori) that ran away after it tasted Tenma's curry. At first Harima thought Tenma was looking for him, but he finds out she is looking for her cat. He tried to ignore her, but then Tenma cries for help because Iori fell into the river. Harima couldn't ignore a desperate Tenma and jumped into the river to save Iori. In the end Tenma thinks a Kappa saved Iori, because Harima had a bald spot on his head.
Although School Rumble is still as wacky as always, it's starting to get a bit more serious. Like the previous episode this episode was also mainly focused on Harima's feelings for Tenma. He keeps feeling more and more depressed, which is sad. I really like the confident, silly Harima. The girl who let Harima stay at her place is cute, but also a bit strange. I for one wouldn't take a stranger in, for all I know he could be a psycho axe-murderer (I know I watch too much television/ movies). It's a good thing Harima turned her down, because I like him to be with Tenma. Another thing I find strange about this episode is Karasuma (I know Karasuma is synonym for strange). He has a job (I don't know how much money he earns with drawing manga, but it should be enough for him to buy lunch) and he has rich parents (they must have some money if they can afford to send their son to study in America), but he doesn't have the money to buy lunch. Or is he doing this on purpose so he can be with Tenma --> neeeeh, Karasuma isn't that smart.
