Yasuaki, Tomomasa and the princess were having a discussion to find the remaining Hachiyou. According to Yasuaki there are still three Hachiyou they have to find. Each of them represents a different element. Tomomasa doesn’t seem interested though. After the discussion with the princess, he and Yasuaki left the room. Yasuaki asks Tomomasa if he hates him, because he didn’t pay attention when he was explaining things and because he tried to leave as soon possible. Tomomasa answered he doesn’t really care about the Hachiyou. He is only helping, because the Emperor ordered him to do so. Then suddenly a Kotengu appeared, bugging Yasuaki. Apparently Yasuaki sealed away all his spiritual power and the Kotengu wasn’t happy about it. Yasuaki didn’t care and tossed him away. The Kotengu landed on Inori’s head. Akane went after the Kotengu, because she was worried about it. She introduced herself to Inori and they somewhat became friends. Then Shimon appeared, but Inori doesn’t seem to like him. He thought Shimon was a demon, because of his hair and eye colour. He wanted to hit Shimon, but Akane stopped him. Akane told Shimon to go inside the mansion, while she explained things to Inori. Then Shirin appeared saying she wanted revenge on Akane for the previous time they met. She started to use her powers on Akane and Inori. At first they were both helpless and would have been killed by Shirin if Inori’s Hachiyou powers haven’t awakened. Inori has the power of fire, with it he saved Akane from Shirin.

Inori is quite an interesting character. He seems to be obsessed with defeating demons. It’s because everyone around him have lost their loved ones, due to the demons. They caused diseases and have awoken many vengeful spirits. Akane was annoying as usual. She is supposed to be the Ryuujin no Miko, but at the same time she is so helpless. She always needs to be saved.
