A vengeful spirit with wings has been attacking the citizens of Kyou. Yorihisa knows the vengeful spirit: it’s Nue (a mythical beast in Japanese stories that resembles a chimera). When Yorihisa was little, he used to go to the mountains to try and defeat Nue. However he never succeeded.
Now, after several years, he has to go back to the mountains to face Nue. Nue appeared, but it seems he has changed. He attacked Yorihisa, Tenma and Shimon and abducted Akane. If Yorihisa wanted Akane back he has to meet Nue alone at the summit of the mountain. Tenma didn’t agree with Yorihisa, but he didn’t have much choice. Yorihisa went to the summit all by himself. Nue came and attacked Yorihisa from behind. He told Yorihisa to kill him if he wants to save Akane, otherwise he has to die along with her. Although Yorihisa didn’t want to kill Nue, he still killed him in the end. He had no choice, because Nue was being controlled by Akuram. If he didn’t kill Nue, Nue would have hurt Akane.
It was so sad Nue had to die. It’s that stupid Akuram’s fault – I HATE HIM, HATE HIM, HATE HIM…………….did I mention how much I hate him? Anyway, up till now I have always thought of Yorihisa as a bit boring. His face is expressionless and he doesn’t seem to care for anyone else besides his precious Miko-dono. I guess he has his reasons for behaving like this. He comes from a family of warriors who have high expectations of him. I think that’s also the reason why he doesn’t becomes friends with someone very easily. He was raised too strictly. Besides his brother, Nue was his first real friend – SO WHY DID HE HAD TO DIE, WHY, WHY?? – I’m sorry I got carried away (again).
