Ryo regained his freedom, but he is not happy at all (although he acts like he is). Just like everyone else he misses Shizuka. He can’t stop thinking about her. One time he had even mistaken Akane for Shizuka. Shizuka went back to her old school and although she acts though, she misses Ryo as well.
While Ryo was in his room thinking about Shizuka he noticed the Hina dolls Shizuka gave to him. He saw something was written on the inside of the pink Hina doll. When he opened the Hina doll he saw that Shizuka has written: “Ryo-sama, thank you!” on it. That’s when Ryo finally realized his feelings for Shizuka. The next day he skipped school and went to look for Shizuka. He found her and the two of them kissed and embraced.
Yeah - Shizuka can finally be with Ryo, or not? There is still one more episode to go. It’s probably a filler episode, because I can’t imagine what more they can add to the storyline. Personally I wouldn’t mind if this series just ended with twelve episodes. I have seen the end I wanted to see (Shizuka ends up being with Ryo) and I am satisfied.
