Ryo is still mad at Shizuka. Although Shizuka is still acting happy and careless all the time, Akane knows that deep down she is hurt. Akane confronts Ryo with this and tells him to look at the real Shizuka (a nice and caring person, who has been hurt from the moment Ryo started dating Ojo). Other people such as Miki (the blond girl), Yurika and Haru also think that Ryo should forgive Shizuka, because she had no bad intentions. Miki even beat up Ryo for making Akane cry. Ryo doesn’t seem to listen, but at the same time he sees how much Shizuka is doing for him.
On a snowy day after school Shizuka walks home all alone without an umbrella. She is feeling very lonely, but keeps on smiling. Then she saw a kitten and wants to reach for it. The kitten was scared and scratched Shizuka. Shizuka couldn’t take it anymore and finally broke down in tears, because she feels that no one cares about her (even the kitten hates her). Ryo followed her and sees Shizuka crying. He held his umbrella above Shizuka’s head and told her to go home with him. Shizuka smiled after hearing these words and held Ryo’s arm went they walked home.
I love this episode. Shizuka finally shows her true feelings and I like that. I’m glad Miki beat up Ryo, otherwise I would have. Geez, he needed a whole episode to forgive Shizuka. I mean come on, what Shizuka did was wrong but she had no bad intentions. She just wanted to protect Ryo (and maybe keep an eye on him, when he is on a date with Ojo). Another plus of this episode is that there were no Ryo and Ojo moments, just hate those. There were a few (very) nice Ryo and Shizuka moments instead. I love them!
