Ichigo went with his family to visit his mother’s grave. Rukia appeared out of nowhere and waved at Ichigo. He pulled her away and asked her why she is following him. Rukia answers that a Hollow can appear anytime and when that happens he will need her by his side. Rukia then starts to ask Ichigo about his mother. She asks if it’s possible that a Hollow killed his mother, because they could have mistaken her for Ichigo. Ichigo didn’t like Rukia asking him all these questions and answers that he killed his mother.
Meanwhile Tatsuki starts to think about Ichigo when he was still a little boy. Ichigo used to be a real mommy’s boy. He was always happy and cheerful when he was with his mommy. This al changed when Ichigo’s mother died when he was only nine years old. From that day on Ichigo changed into the Ichigo he is now.
Rukia regrets she asked Ichigo those questions. Kon crawled out of her backpack and says he wants to go home. Rukia suddenly felt someone’s presence and ran into the forest. There she met Saidou Eikichirou a Death God and a member of the Secret Mobile Unit. He is sent by Soul Society to bring Rukia back. Kon knows the Death God is up to no good and so he went to look for Ichigo. He found him and brought him to Rukia. Saidou Eikichirou then finds out about Ichigo’s identity (substitute Death God) and attacks him. Ichigo used Kon to turn into a Death God and starts fighting Saidou. Then Rukia received orders about a Hollow that is nearby and they had to seize the fight. It turns out that a Hollow is attacking Ichigo’s family so Ichigo has to go save them.
I can’t wait for the next episode. This episode ended with a few major cliffhangers again. Will Ichigo arrive in time to save his family, who killed his mother, who is the girl Ichigo tried to save when he was little, what felony did Rukia commit and will Ichigo continue his fight with Saidou?
Saidou Eikichirou is a very annoying person. He thinks he is funny, while he isn’t. I thought Death Gods are supposed to take their jobs very seriously. Saidou seems to think that his work is rather amusing and takes it a bit lightly. I hope the next episode will reveal some answers and I sure hope that Ichigo will kick Saidou’s ass (big time!).
