Hanai offers to clean the pool, so that Yakumo's class doesn't have to do it. Suou and her friends are talking about Hanai. It turns out that Hanai and Suou are childhood-friends. They are both students from the Shaolin dojo. Suou mentions that Hanai has a huge crush on Tsukamoto Yakumo, Harima however heard it wrong and thinks that Hanai has a crush on Tenma. He challenges Hanai for a pool hockey match. At first it was Hanai's team (members of the theatrical club) VS Harima's team (members of the food stand: Tenma and Suou). Harima's team was losing, but later on other students participated in the match as well and both teams seemed to be equally matched. Karasuma-kun was the umpire.
A guy named Fuyuki appeared to take pictures of the girls of class 2-c. Hanai tried to stop him, but he was persuaded to buy some pictures of Yakumo instead (too bad he didn't had the money to buy them). Fuyuki enjoyes taking pictures of Tenma as well, which pissed Harima off. Harima and Hanai chased Fuyuki around the pool and they bumped into the students who were trying the fill up the pool. They accidentaly broke the switch of the crane causing all the girls to get soaked. The girls were pretty pissed and blamed Hanai, Harima and Fuyuki.
Pretty funny episode. Up till now all the episodes consisted of three short stories. This episode had however only one story. The pool match is done nicely. Harima and Hanai's expressions are priceless. They both refuse to lose. Harima needs to pay more attention when eavesdropping other people. That way he won't accuse people of things they didn't do. Hanai is a bit weird. He seems to be a huge fan of Yakumo's. His crush on Yakumo might be even bigger than Harima's crush on Tenma. If Hanai and Harima somehow managed to work together they might succeed in confessing their love to the Tsukamoto sisters. Tenma still likes Karasuma-kun, which I don't understand. Karasuma-kun acts strangely which is funny, but other than that he is just so dull.
